Electric Mobility Product Development

We will meet brands, distributors, and sourcing partners working across electric bicycles, electric scooters, and electric motorcycles. Whether you have a finished specification or an early product idea, the Canton Fair is an opportunity to speak directly with PXID about the design, engineering, and manufacturing work behind a new vehicle.

From Product Brief to Engineering Prototype

A successful development project starts with a clear use case. At the booth, visitors can bring their target market, intended rider, price position, preferred vehicle category, and design references. Those details help frame the choices that follow: the product layout, frame structure, electrical system, materials, and the features that matter to the end user. PXID’s ODM process covers product design, structural design, electrical control system design, and engineering prototype development.

A prototype is where an attractive concept meets practical questions. The team can review how components fit together, how the structure is built, and which design details require further engineering before tooling. For a buyer or brand owner, this is also the right stage to discuss which elements should remain standard and which should be developed specifically for the project. The precise scope can then be defined against the product brief.

From Tooling to Manufacturing

PXID’s work extends beyond the initial design. Its stated services include mold design and fabrication, frame manufacturing, painting and coating, testing, and mass production. Connecting these stages matters because a change to a frame, component location, or finish can affect how a vehicle is made as well as how it looks. Discussing those constraints early helps a development team decide what needs to be validated before production planning.

PXID also describes upgrades to its digital factory and mold center in 2025. These capabilities provide a useful starting point for conversations about OEM production and ODM development, from an existing product configuration to a more customized design program.

What to Discuss with PXID at the Fair

Visitors are welcome to bring a project brief, sketches, benchmark products, or a list of technical questions. Useful starting points include the intended sales market, target user, vehicle type, customization priorities, expected order volume, and planned launch timing. For an existing model, the discussion may focus on branding, components, color and finish, or other configuration choices. For a new concept, the conversation can begin with design scope, prototype work, tooling, and the steps needed to assess production feasibility.
