Product Design Evaluation & Mold Feasibility Analysis

Before mold fabrication, the product design is evaluated to determine its suitability for molding. Wall thickness, draft angles, structural complexity, and tolerance control are optimized. Material shrinkage and application scenarios are analyzed to ensure the design meets mass-production requirements.

Mold Structure & Runner System Design

A complete mold structure plan is developed, including mold type selection (such as injection mold), parting line layout, and the design of critical runner and cooling systems. A scientific runner design ensures uniform material filling and avoids defects such as air traps and warpage, while optimized cooling improves cycle time and production efficiency.

Material Selection & Precision Machining

High-strength and wear-resistant steels such as P20, H13, and S136 are selected. Precision manufacturing is completed using CNC, EDM, wire cutting, grinding, and polishing processes. Mold component tolerances are controlled to micron-level standards to ensure long service life and stable durability.

Mold Assembly & Fine Tuning

All machined mold components are precisely assembled and tuned. Dimensions and geometry are checked against the design, and key areas such as parting lines, inserts, and guide structures are carefully inspected and adjusted. Smooth mold opening, closing, and ejection are ensured to prepare for the trial molding stage.

Trial Molding Verification & Performance Optimization

Trial molding is a critical step for validating mold performance and product quality. Multiple rounds of sampling verify appearance, dimensions, and structural integrity. Based on molding data, runners, cooling, and venting systems are further optimized to ensure the mold reaches an ideal production state before mass manufacturing.
