Ban electric bicycles and electric tricycles?

pxidw 2021-11-16 41 times

As an electric cyclist, when I saw someone asked "Why doesn't China ban electric bicycles and tricycles?" I feel that there are five complicated feelings: shock, contempt, wanting to laugh, finally helpless, lonely, and even sad.

Even if China today has become a big society with 350 million electric two-wheeled vehicles and 100 million electric tricycles, there are still many hostile "elites" who know nothing about electric vehicles. What's more frightening is that they didn't realize what was wrong with them.

I especially remember that in a CCTV program in 2019, "experts" who did not know why the new national standard were introduced boldly said: "The new national standard has greatly increased the speed of electric vehicles" and "the modification of the new national standard does not affect users' Buy", wait, this surprised the people of electric cars.

Once upon a time, "experts" were synonymous with professionalism, but they were unprofessional in the field of electric vehicles many times. This also represents the misunderstanding of many "elites" about electric vehicles. Those who grew up in honeypots did not realize how big the income gap between China's 1.4 billion people is. They would only imitate "Why not eat minced meat" said by Emperor Hui of the Jin Dynasty.

Ban electric bicycles and electric tricycles?

Not long ago, Wen Jiabao solemnly told the world that China still has "600 million low- and middle-income people and below, with an average monthly income of about 1,000 yuan." This is the most authentic China.

A small electric car carries the simplest travel needs of people with low incomes and below.

First of all, in rural areas with a population of 700 million in China, electric vehicles are only a magical tool for travel and a good helper for agricultural work. Everyone living in the countryside knows that it is very difficult to walk two or three kilometers from the village to the market without an electric car. When farming is busy, electric tricycles can carry people and pull crops, which is needed by every household.

In cities, workers also rely heavily on electric vehicles. Taking the author himself as an example, I have personally experienced the dilemma that the bus cannot be reached directly and the subway can not get through. It takes an hour to go to work in just 5 kilometers, and electric vehicles can easily solve travel problems, with low cost, convenient and efficient travel.

Electric tricycles in cities mainly undertake the mission of delivering express trains. They are also a new type of leisure tricycles for the elderly that have emerged with the improvement of people's material and cultural living standards. It is a manifestation of social progress. However, some people think that electric cars are beasts from the alien world.

After all, most people who want to ban electric cars are private cars. They always think that electric cars have robbed them of their right of way. In fact, do they think that if everyone drives a private car, the roads will be more crowded? Or people who take a helicopter might think that it is better to ban cars and build more tarmacs. How can people be so headstrong?

Born to be human, why do we have a dilemma? If the proposal can be so capricious, then I propose "total ban on private cars."
