When you add gas, you lose two bars of electricity. What is going on with such an electric scooter?

I don’t know if you have ever encountered such a problem in your life. You obviously charge the battery at home, but when you’re riding, when you refuel, the power drops instantly by two bars. There is no bottom, I am afraid that I will be anchored in the middle of the road.

Recently, some netizens have been asking about this phenomenon. Today, the "old driver" of PXID scooter design company will explain it to everyone.

One reason: the internal process of the battery

In the early stage of the New Environmental Protection Policy, that is, in 2014, the state called for standardizing the battery industry to implement a cadmium-free internal formation process. Cadmium in lead-acid batteries can enhance battery conductivity, reduce battery internal resistance, improve battery discharge voltage, high and low temperature resistance, and good charge and discharge performance.

After the scooter design company chooses cadmium-free + internal formation in the battery process, the battery performance is affected. The most obvious point is that the initial voltage of the battery is low, which means that the battery will be fully charged, but it is easy to lose two cells when accelerated Electricity situation. But don't worry, the cadmium-free + internal formation process is in line with the sustainable development of batteries. After a full cycle is achieved, the battery performance will gradually increase, and the service life will also increase.

When you add gas, you lose two bars of electricity. What is going on with such an electric scooter?

Reason two: battery self-discharge problem

Some users do not immediately ride the electric vehicle after fully charging the electric vehicle, but leave the electric vehicle for several days. However, the electric vehicle battery itself has self-discharge, so the longer it is left, the greater the power loss and the faster the battery voltage drops. When the user rides again, it is easy to accelerate and lose two grids of electricity. Remember to fully charge an electric vehicle before it is left unused. After that, charge once every 3-5 days. The battery cannot be fully charged or overcharged, nor can it be under-voltage without charging.

Reason 3: The internal circuit is damaged

It is not ruled out that it is caused by the damp condition of the battery line. If the line gets wet, the resistance of the electric vehicle will increase, and the battery voltage of the electric vehicle will drop, which will cause the electric vehicle to accelerate and lose two grids of electricity. When the scooter design company does battery testing, it needs to be dried. Try not to ride electric bicycles on rainy and snowy days, because it is unsafe, unable to run, and electric bicycles are worn out.

Finally, I would like to add one more point to everyone. If a problem is found when testing the battery, it is likely that one of the small batteries is broken, causing the electric vehicle to lose two grids as soon as it accelerates. Because one of the small batteries is broken, the voltage will be unstable, resulting in accelerated power loss.
