The hubless Reevo electric bike has surprised many with its avant-garde aesthetics
Beno Technologies, a start-up, introduced its new Reevo electric bike as a hubless electric bike with its hubless electric drive system.Designed primarily for urban use, the bike is the result of a long period of research and development work and features the most spectacular design, especially since its hubs lack hubs and spokes.
But that's not the only futuristic element of this spectacular bike, as the Reevo boasts countless details that make it even more unique.
The Reevo electric bike uses a unique, patent-pending hub-less wheel that is always centerless. There are no spokes, no transparent center, no head, just pure engineering excellence, based on a solid, lightweight core and made in a glossy matte black. The bike comes with a dedicated case for removable batteries and a USB jack that lets you connect your smartphone to charge it while it's on the move.
The Reevo's design is based on the overall framework and can accommodate a 750W engine. In Europe, cyclists must get used to 250 watts of power. The middle of the bike is thick, with an interchangeable 500 Wh battery pack.It can only reach speeds of 25 MPH (40 km/h) in America, according to its manufacturer. In Europe, the speed will be limited to 15.5 MPH (25 km/h).The bike offers a maximum range of 37 miles (60km) and can be fully charged in under three hours.
In addition, the hubless bike is actually theft-proof, with a one-touch fingerprint sensor, integrated automatic locking and GPS tracking.Bikes can carry smartphones on the handlebars, and you can put them in the smart dashboard using the free IOS and Android Reevo apps.
The Reevo's side bracket won't be noticed unless you need it.The middle of the rear wheel can still be used to carry mini backpack, which makes the suitcase possible and can be attached to the fixed rim.
Ambient light sensors detect darkness and automatically turn on and off ultra-bright headlights and taillights. The rear wheels are equipped with indicators and brakes.
It took four years for the Reevo electric bike, with its completely futuristic design, to hit the market.Well-equipped and tightly connected, it is currently the subject of an Indiegogo crowdfunding platform with an early price tag of $1,999 and an expected launch date of March 2021.
