Bird offers free electric scooter facilities for Teachers in Redditch
Teachers in REDDITCH can now ride their new electric scooters for free this month.
Bird- the micro-mobile operator that is currently following the service, Redditch- offers a "teacher free ride" throughout October.
Now, whether commuting to work or shopping for online learning, the town's educators can experience a clean, traffic-free and social-distancefree way to get around.
The free ride service is designed to help and thank teachers for their work during the COVID-19 pandemic.
"This academic year, we are all facing a 'new normal,'" says Rebecca Hahn, Bird's chief corporate social responsibility officer, "and the center's teachers are tasked with the huge task of redesigning online and online learning -- classroom learning.
"We want to help us by providing free personal mobility for all teachers so they can focus on what matters most: their passion for education."
The new scheme will offer teachers up to two free 30-minute rides a day from now until the end of October.
