Ducati has created a new series of electric bicycles and electric scooters
Ducati has released a series of new electric bicycles and electric scooters to help achieve zero-emission urban mobility.
The new series manufactured in cooperation with MT Distribution will include four electric scooters and three folding electric bicycles using Ducati, Ducati Corse and Ducati Scrambler.
The design of the bicycle was planned by the Ducati Design Center, which together with the design company Italdesign proposed a personalized look for the new model.
Some scooters draw inspiration from the company's Scrambler series of bicycles.
The power range of the scooter is 250W to 500W, while the electric bicycle is 250W. This Scrambler brand Cross-E electric scooter uses stab-proof tubeless tires, which is ideal for driving on dirt roads or uneven urban roads. The 375Wh battery claims a cruising range of up to 21 miles and an average speed of 9.3mph. They even have three independent driving modes, dual headlights and a large 3.5-inch LCD display.
The Ducati brand Pro II model is equipped with a 350W brushless motor and 280Wh battery, as well as a complete rear suspension system and a 10-inch puncture-resistant vacuum tire. It even has a dual braking system that stops accurately.
More details about electric bicycles will be announced soon, although Ducati has stated that it will use an "innovative design" that integrates the taillights into the seatpost and is equipped with automatic lighting.
