Off-road electric bike, not a motorcycle, really a BMX bike
Riding a motorcycle is usually an improvement: if you liked riders pushing bikes as a kid, you might want to ride a motorcycle as a teenager.
This petrol-powered BMX electric bike is an interesting example of reversing. It comes from British builder Shaun Walker of Down & Out.
Shaun has been immersed in custom scenarios for 20 years, building a solid business and trend. Not only is he a skilled builder, he is not afraid to try new things. Fixing small engines in the BMX framework is his latest experiment.
"When I was a kid, BMX was all the rage, and I wanted a bicycle. But the working class from a family of eight, plus my father working in the mining industry, made little money.
Shaun noticed that most of these bikes' Cub frames were modified to BMX style. I know he decided to make his own version, but it was different. The project actually stalled for two years.
"We're very busy building custom wins," said Sean. "But I finally finished it and posted a photo online. All this has created a need for electric bike construction and kits.
