Indian electric moped tour startup B: Live receives strategic investment of Rs 40 crore
According to Indian media Yourstory, Indian electric moped travel startup B: Live announced that it has received a strategic investment of Rs 40 crore from entertainment activity management company DNA Entertainment Networks Pvt. Ltd. The company plans to use this latest investment to expand India's domestic business, strengthen its technology platform, and expand into ten new cities over the next twelve months.
B: The two co-founders of Live Company are Samarth Kholkar and Sandeep Mukherjee. They are an experiential eco-tourism startup company, providing immersive travel experience driven by smart electric mopeds, and bringing intimate experiences of smart electric mopeds to tourists. Currently, B: Live is working closely with several Indian state governments to encourage the deployment of electric mopeds in all tourist destinations in the country and make them the preferred mode of transportation for tourists.
At this stage, the company's business mainly covers three states. Next, they plan to partner with high-end hotel chain brands such as Taj, Club Mahindra, Marriott, Hyatt, Hilton, Novotel, and Radisson to provide their customers with electric moped commuting services.
