Bajaj Chetak electric scooter release price function
Bajaj Auto today launched the iconic Chetak brand electric scooter (e-scooter), marking its return to the scooter market.
Pune will be the first city to sell bicycles in January, and Bangalore will be the second. Bajaj Auto said that subsequent sales will be based on the needs of the two cities. The Bajaj Chetak electric scooter will be sold from the company's Pro Biking dealership, which also sells KTM superbikes.
Rajiv Bajaj, managing director of Bajaj Automotive, said that he hopes to be a pioneer in the electric field and an established participant in the two-wheeler industry. He said: "With this attitude, we decided to switch to electric cars."
Bajaj's new Chetak electric scooter has a cruising range of 85 km in sport mode and 95 km in eco mode with approximately 5 hours per charge. It will also have the ability to protect it from theft, and the owner will be notified if an accident or unauthorized access occurs.
Auto has not disclosed the price of its new Chetak scooter. The price will be announced before the start of delivery to the showroom. The appearance of the Bajaj car said that the price will not exceed ₹1.5 million. In order to launch from the company's Chakan plant, it is also planned to export it to all relevant markets in Europe starting next year.
The launch of the electric scooter does not mean that the company is making a comeback and entering the traditional scooter field. He said the company's focus will continue on mass production of bicycles, while electric scooters and other brands such as KTM and Triumph will serve as niche markets.
