No need to charge Aptera’s new technology for solar electric vehicles
Recently, Aptera Motors has released a solar vehicle technology that converts solar energy into electrical energy and provides about 64 kilometers of electric power to the vehicle, eliminating the need for the owner to charge the electric vehicle.
Aptera Motors first released a solar electric vehicle in 2015 and disappeared. In 2019, the company announced its resurrection and announced that it will continue to promote the mass production of the electric vehicle. The car has not yet been officially named.
The car has a strange shape. It has two wheels in the front and only one wheel in the back. The overall shape is more aerodynamic, and the whole car weighs only 815kg. The model has a length, width and height of 4440/2240/1360mm and a wheelbase of 2770mm. There are two seats in the car and a trunk behind the car.
The car is equipped with two hub motors. The standard version has an acceleration time of 0-100km/h of 4s. The battery pack has a maximum capacity of 100kWh and can travel 1600km. The kilometer of electricity meets the daily commute needs of the vehicle. Aptera Motors revealed that the car will begin production in 2020.
